The story

Help Reem and Her Four Children Survive in Gaza

❤️ A mother of four, pregnant with her fifth child, trying to protect her family

My name is Reem, and I am a mother of four children from Gaza. I am also pregnant with my fifth child.

My children are my whole world. ❤️

I have spent every day trying to protect them and provide them with the basic things every child deserves: food, clean water, medicine, clothing, shelter, and safety.

But our lives have been turned upside down.

We have been displaced more than ten times, moving from one place to another while searching for somewhere we can feel safe. We have lost our home, our stability, and many of the simple things that once made our children feel secure.

And the danger has not ended for us.

We continue to live with fear and uncertainty. We have experienced heavy gunfire around our shelter, and bullets have reached the place where we are staying. My children have witnessed things no child should have to experience.

As a mother, one of the hardest things is watching my children struggle with things that should never be difficult for a child.

Sometimes we struggle to find enough food.

Sometimes clean water is difficult to obtain.

Medicine and basic hygiene supplies can be difficult to find or afford.

Even preparing a simple meal can become a difficult and dangerous task.

I am also pregnant and have medical needs that I must try to manage while caring for four children in these extremely difficult circumstances.

👧👦 Meet My Children

My children are not just numbers in a fundraising campaign. They are four individual children with their own personalities, dreams, and needs.

👦 Ahmed — 10 years old

Ahmed is my oldest child.

He needs nutritious food, clean water, clothing, school supplies, and basic healthcare.

I want Ahmed to have the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream about his future instead of growing up surrounded by fear, displacement, and uncertainty.

👧 Dima — 8 years old

Dima is my daughter.

She needs nutritious food, clean water, clothing, hygiene supplies, and medical care when necessary.

Recently, she was burned on her foot while we were preparing food using fire because we cannot always afford or access electricity or gas.

A simple daily task became an injury that she now has to live with.

I wish she could grow up without having to experience these dangers.

👦 Akram — 5 years old

Akram is still very young.

He needs nutritious food, clean water, clothing, hygiene supplies, and medical care and medicine when he becomes sick.

As his mother, I worry whenever one of my children becomes ill because access to food and healthcare is not something we can take for granted.

I want Akram to be able to grow up healthy and safe.

👶 Karim — 2 years old

Karim is my youngest child.

At only two years old, he needs nutritious food, clean water, diapers and hygiene supplies, clothing, and medical care when necessary.

He is still at an age when he should be playing, laughing, and discovering the world.

Instead, he has already experienced displacement and the loss of things he loved.

As his mother, protecting him is one of my greatest concerns.

🤰 My Pregnancy

I am also pregnant with my fifth child.

I am trying to take care of my health and my unborn baby while caring for my four children.

I have medical needs related to my pregnancy, and obtaining the necessary treatment and healthcare is difficult under our current circumstances.

My greatest hope is simply to give birth safely and keep my children safe and healthy.

💧 The Basic Things We Struggle to Find

For many families around the world, these things are ordinary.

For us, they can be difficult to obtain:

🍞 Food — flour, bread, rice, vegetables, and other essential food.

💧 Clean Water — safe drinking water and water for basic hygiene.

💊 Medical Care — medicines, medical consultations, and urgent healthcare.

🧼 Hygiene Supplies — soap, cleaning products, diapers, and personal hygiene items.

👕 Clothing — essential clothing and shoes for the children.

📚 Children's Needs — basic educational and childhood necessities.

🏕️ Shelter — safe accommodation and essential household items.

🚕 Transportation — transportation when we need to reach medical care or obtain essential supplies.

💰 How Your Donation Will Help

Our fundraising goal is $15,000.

The funds will be used for our family's most urgent and basic needs:

🆘 $1,000 — Emergency Reserve

❤️ Total Goal: $15,000

Every contribution, no matter how small, can help us get through another difficult day.

🤝 I Want People to Know That We Are Real

I understand that people who donate to a family they have never met may have questions.

I want supporters to feel comfortable knowing who they are helping.

I am willing to communicate directly with people who would like to know more about our situation. I am available, when circumstances and internet access allow, for voice calls and video calls so that people can speak with me, see our daily living conditions, and hear directly from me about what our family is experiencing.

With appropriate privacy and safety precautions, I can also allow supporters to meet my children during a video call if they wish.

I am not asking anyone to simply trust a stranger on the internet.

I want to be transparent about our situation and answer genuine questions from people who are considering supporting our family.

I can also provide appropriate information and documentation that may help verify our circumstances, while protecting sensitive personal information.

❤️ Why I Am Asking for Help

I am not asking for luxury.

I am asking for the things every mother wants for her children.

I want my children to have enough food.

I want them to have clean water.

I want to be able to obtain medicine when they are sick.

I want to protect my unborn baby.

I want my children to have clothing, hygiene supplies, and a safe place to sleep.

I want them to have a chance to learn and dream about their future.

My children should be playing, learning, laughing, and growing up surrounded by love.

They should not have to worry about gunfire, displacement, hunger, water, medicine, or whether they will be safe tomorrow.

I am doing everything I can as their mother.

But I cannot do this alone.

🙏 Please Help Us

If you are able to donate, any amount can help.

If you cannot donate, please share our campaign.

A single share could help our story reach someone who can help our family.

I know there are thousands of families suffering and struggling in Gaza. I am not asking anyone to forget them.

I am simply asking you to remember one mother and her four children.

My name is Reem.

These are my children.

This is our life.

We are still here.

We are still trying to survive.

And we are still hoping for a safer future. 🇵🇸❤️

Please stand with my family.

Thank you for reading our story, for sharing our campaign, and for every act of kindness and compassion. 🙏❤️🇵🇸
