In April 2025, my wife Nagham and I were blessed with the birth of our baby boy, Khaled. It was a moment that should have filled us with joy and hope but, due to the war on Gaza, we struggled to raise Khaled. We did not have the money to buy milk, diapers and clothes for our baby. They were not allowed into Gaza, so their prices skyrocketed. Nagham was weak from giving birth and had to undergo several surgeries. Khaled was often sick and had to be hospitalised. We worried every day for his survival.
We were ejected from our home and forced to evacuate from one place to another. We lived in tents, on a friend’s front porch and in a rented apartment, where the landlord raised the rent from month to month.
Thanks to God and to everyone who supported us and despite everything that has happened, Khaled is now a 1 1/2-year-old toddler. However, our lives remain a daily uphill struggle, fraught with immense difficulties.
My family of 11 desperately needs your support. We need to pay for food, clean water, milk, diapers, phone and Internet services and other basic necessities.
We’ve now moved back to the home we built before the war. However, it’s been severely damaged by the bombings. We live in a house with missing walls, ruptured floors and no roof. As winter approaches, we need your help to buy materials to insulate our home from the cold and rain.
I hope you’ll support us until the war is truly over, until our city is rebuilt, the borders reopened and jobs return.
We need you. Thank you.
Your donations will be used to buy materials to repair Ibrahim's bombed-out house as well as pay for basic necessities for his family, including food, drinking water, medicines, gas, phone and Internet connection, detergent and cleaning supplies, clothing, blankets for winter as well as milk and diapers for his son, Khaled.
