A Widow’s Plea for Hope and Dignity in Gaza — Every Donation Matters

My name is Itidal. I am a 54-year-old widow living in a tent in Tel al-Hawa, Gaza, Palestine.

The war has taken so much from me and my family. I have lost loved ones, and our home has been destroyed. Today, I am struggling to survive in extremely difficult conditions, without a husband, a provider, or reliable financial support.

Every day is a struggle to find enough money for food and basic necessities. Living in a tent, surrounded by destruction and uncertainty, has left me facing a future filled with fear and hardship.

My brother is also seriously ill. He suffers from heart disease and high blood pressure and needs medical treatment and an operation. I worry about his health and feel helpless because I cannot afford the care he needs.

I am asking kind-hearted people around the world to please remember us. Any donation, no matter how small, could help me obtain essential supplies and support my brother's medical needs.

I do not ask for a life of luxury. I only hope for safety, food, medical care for my brother, and the chance to live with dignity.
