A Mother’s Plea to Protect Her Baby in Gaza

I am a mother in Gaza trying to protect my little son, Ali, in extremely difficult conditions. We need support for food, medicine, milk, diapers, shelter, and other basic necessities.

The story

A Mother’s Plea to Protect Her Baby in Gaza

My name is Rida, a mother from Gaza and the mother of little Ali. I am sharing this appeal because my family is struggling to survive in circumstances that no family should have to face.

We are trying to provide the basic things our little boy needs while living through extremely difficult conditions. Every day brings new worries about food, medicine, shelter, and the simple necessities needed to care for a child.

Our home has been badly affected, and our roof does not properly protect us from rain and harsh weather. We need to repair and secure our shelter before the coming winter so that Ali can have a safer and more stable place to live.

At the same time, we are struggling to afford food and other essential household needs. When Ali becomes sick, getting the medicine and medical care he needs can be difficult because of our financial situation.

I am asking for help not because we want anything luxurious, but because we need the basic necessities that allow a mother to care for her child with dignity.

How the funds will be used

1. Repairing and protecting our home

Purchasing zinc sheets, tarpaulins, and other materials needed to repair the damaged roof and protect our home from rain and harsh weather.

2. Food and basic household needs

Buying essential food and household supplies for our family.

3. Milk and children's necessities

Providing milk, diapers, clothing, and other necessities Ali needs as a young child.

4. Medicine and medical care

Paying for medicines, medical examinations, and necessary treatment when Ali or a family member becomes sick.

5. Heating and winter necessities

Preparing for cold weather and keeping our home as safe and warm as possible during winter.

6. Debts and urgent expenses

Helping us deal with essential debts and urgent expenses that have accumulated while trying to meet our family's basic needs.

Every donation, no matter how small, can make a real difference. A contribution can help put food on our table, provide medicine when Ali is sick, or help us repair the roof over our heads.

If you cannot donate, sharing our campaign can also help us reach someone who can.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for standing with my family.
