Manual review, with honest limits

Campaigns are reviewed before publication. We may request identity or supporting documents and ask organizers to clarify their story or intended use of funds. Documents are handled through restricted systems and are not a public campaign gallery.

Review and any verification status describe checks made by the platform. They do not certify every fact, guarantee a beneficiary’s conduct, guarantee fundraising success or insure donations.

Payments and private information

Stripe processes card payments. Gleesome stores payment references and transaction information, not full card numbers or card security codes. Access to organizer documents and operational records is restricted. No online service can promise zero security risk.

Organizers remain responsible

Organizers must provide accurate information, obtain permission to share other people’s information and images, use funds for the stated purpose and keep supporters informed about important changes. We may pause, reject, suspend or remove campaigns that breach our rules or require further review.

Report a concern

Open the campaign and use “Report this fundraiser” to report misleading information, suspected fraud, impersonation, beneficiary concerns or privacy issues. This sends the report to the platform’s existing review workflow. You can also contact support with the campaign link. Reports are reviewed; filing one does not automatically remove a campaign or issue a refund.

Gleesome is not an emergency service. If someone faces immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency services. Never send passwords, card security codes or private wallet keys in a report.
