Help Salah and his family

My name is Salah, I am 24 years old, from Gaza. We are a family of 19, I am married and have a child, and we live in difficult circumstances.

The story

My name is Salah. I am a father, a brother, and a university student from northern Gaza.

My family has lost nearly everything. But the responsibility we carry did not disappear with what we lost.

My brother Mustafa is 40 years old. He has cerebral palsy, severe muscle atrophy, and malnutrition. He cannot walk or care for himself. Every part of his day depends on us. He needs medicine, diapers, and soft food prepared carefully because he has lost most of his teeth. Meeting his basic needs costs our family around $100 every four days.

At the same time, I am raising a child, supporting my family, and trying to finish my degree. I made it to the final stage of my studies after years of working through war and displacement. I cannot receive my diploma because of unpaid university fees. The education is complete. The credential is out of reach.

I am not asking for comfort. I am asking for the ability to keep my brother alive with dignity, finish what I started, and give my child something to build on.

Every contribution helps cover Mustafa's care. Every share puts this story in front of someone who might help. That is enough to keep us going.
