A Father from Gaza Seeking Hope, Safety, and a Better Future

My name is Kamel Hamad Abu Nasser, and I am a Palestinian living in Gaza.

I am writing this story with a heavy heart, hoping that someone somewhere in the world will hear my voice and understand what life has become for us.

Life in Gaza has become an enormous daily struggle. We have endured fear, loss, displacement, and the destruction of the life we once knew. My home was lost because of the war, and I have been living through circumstances that are difficult to describe in words.

For more than two years, the lack of electricity has made even the simplest things in daily life incredibly difficult. Keeping a phone charged and staying connected with the outside world can be a challenge. Without a stable income, meeting basic needs and rebuilding a life feels almost impossible.

I am not asking for luxury. I am asking for a chance to live with dignity, find safety, and build a better future.

My hope is to receive humanitarian support to help me meet essential needs and, if a safe and lawful opportunity becomes available, cover the costs of leaving Gaza and reaching a safer place.
