The story
My name is Raghad Al-Kaddash. I am 23 years old, living in Gaza with my three sisters and my elderly father. Our family home in Rafah was completely destroyed by the war, leaving us struggling to survive amid displacement and extremely difficult living conditions.
Despite all these hardships, I worked hard to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Sadly, I still cannot obtain my graduation certificate because of unpaid university fees. My dream is to continue my education and pursue a Master’s degree, giving me a chance to build a better future and support my family.
I am not fighting for myself alone. I am fighting for my family, for our dignity, and for the hope of a better tomorrow. After losing our home and so much of our lives, education is one of the few dreams I still hold on to.
